§ 15.20.140. License required— Exceptions.

A.

No person shall engage in the business of electrical wiring, except in the employ of a person licensed under the provision of this chapter, unless such person has a current license issued pursuant to this chapter.

B.

The license required by subsection A of this section shall not apply to owners of single-family dwellings and accessory buildings thereto used for their own private use and occupancy. Any person employed by or assisting such owner in such work shall be licensed as above provided.
